German Shepherd Has A Precious Evening Routing With Bunny Before Going To Sleep.

We all have our routines and rituals that we partake in, especially in the morning or at night. These routines help our day become a little more organized and go a little bit smoother.

Even our pets have certain routines and rituals.

They usually wake up at a certain time (well wake us up!) to eat or to be let out to use the bathroom. Meet Skottke a German Shepherd that has a very specific bedtime routine.

His routine is to make sure that his “baby,” is OK. His “baby” just so happens to be a little bunny named Holly. Skottke and Holly are very famous on the internet right now due to their adorable interactions.

One of their most recent videos shows Skottke’s nighttime routine.

“We have rituals every night,” Skottke’s mom says off camera. “We gotta do the same thing before we go to bed. I’m gonna ask her a question and she’s gonna show you what we have to do.”

She asks her dog whether or not Skottke is “ready to get up” which I believe they consider getting ready to get cozy in bed. Skottke gets very excited every time she hears these words.

It’s probably because she knows that this means she can go visit her baby, Holly.

“OK, where am I? What do we gotta do in here? We gotta tell your baby goodnight. There’s your baby, it’s Holly. We gotta tell her goodnight ok? I’m going to tell her goodnight. Ready? Night, night Holly.”

Skottke and her mom walked into Holly’s room and over to her cage. Skottke looks up her baby and seems to say goodnight.

“Ok, let’s get up. We told her goodnight so it’s time to get up.”

Skottke knows what it means and walks straight to her mom’s room. She hops up on the bed.

“You are not gonna get on up on my side,” she tells the dog. “Go get up on your side, get up on your side.”

So she did, and now it was officially time for bed.

You can watch Skottke say goodnight to her baby in the adorable video below.
